
Milija Radović, Acting Deputy Director
Milija RADOVIĆ, graduated Traffic Engineer, was born on 29 November 1962 in Foča, where he completed primary school and Gymnasium. He graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Sarajevo in 1987. From 1987 to 1992, he was an assistant at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering in Sarajevo, teaching the subjects Cybernetics, Traffic Process Management, and Urban Traffic. At the same time, he worked at the company “Bosnatransport” Sarajevo in the field of traffic and transport.
From 1994 to 2004, he worked at the passenger transport company “Drinatrans” Zvornik as Head of the Public Transport Department and as Director. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Head of the Department for Economy and Social Affairs in the Municipality of Zvornik. From 2007 to 2008, he worked as Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2008 to 2011, he worked in the Municipality of Zvornik in the field of traffic.
He holds the following licenses: instructor and examiner license for the driver’s license test, Road Safety Inspector (RSI) license, and Road Safety Auditor (RSA) license.
For more than 10 years, he has been a member/chairman of the Commission for the Harmonization of Timetables in the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska.
He is the author of numerous international and national papers in the field of traffic safety. He has participated in projects for the improvement of traffic safety in the Republic of Srpska. He is the recipient of the recognition “Golden Pine”, awarded by the Committee for Awards of the Conference “Traffic Accidents, Expertise, Damage Assessment, Vehicle Insurance, Zlatibor 2009” for long-term work and outstanding achievements in scientific, professional, and pedagogical work in the field of traffic safety.
For more than 20 years, he has been engaged in traffic accident expertise for the needs of prosecutors and courts, with over 1,000 completed traffic accident expert reports.
By the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Srpska in October 2011, he was appointed Acting Director of the Republic of Srpska Traffic Safety Agency, and on 12 June 2012, he was appointed Director of the Agency for a five-year term. He served as Director of the Traffic Safety Agency until December 2019.
At the end of December 2019, he was appointed Acting Deputy Director of the Republic of Srpska Traffic Safety Agency.
